CUSTOM PANEL DESIGN
Panels are expensive. They are cut from 3/16" aluminum, engraved, brushed, anodized, and the engraving is filled with paint. Panel drawings are critical. One forgotten item and the panel is D.O.A., period. We design panel system and drawings at $ 50.00 per hour. Usually it takes an hour per drawing on a 10 panel or more system. You can add in as many "update hours" as you'd like. The brushing and anodizing are on a per lot pricing, hence one or ten panels incur a $ 200.00 brushing and anodizing fee. Not good to do one panel. Seperate of the brushing and anodizing, the panels themselves range from @ $ 150.00 thru $ 400.00 to cut. Below are samples for the low and high end. THE CHEAP WAY OUT
Other companies and electronic stores that may be local carry a brand called MID-ATLANTIC. They have three rack space frames that hold a variety of different connectors. There cheap, but no engraving. Maybe an ambitious person with a p-touch could make them look nice. Some suppliers also have assorted rack mount panels pre-cut, as well as electrical box face plates cut out for audio connectors. Good Luck.
